Registered buyer submits
bid request containing description of what he wants.
Most fresh bid requests >>
This request becomes available for coders.
If coder is interested, he places
bid with price and propositions.
Usually buyer receives 10-20 bids in 24 hours.
Buyer can
select the bid fitted most, but buyer under no obligation to accept any bids unless he choose to.
If winning bid is selected - its creator will start coding and should report "work done" before deadline.
If buyer is 100% satisfied with result - he can
accept work.
2. Who pays for this service ?

But coder should pay a commission (7.5 ... 15%) from finished & accepted work.

3. Who is who at RentACoder.com ?
If work is accepted by buyer - then buyer and coder can
rate each other
from 1 (horrible) to 10 (excellent) and write a short comment.
Ratings and comments are publicly available and work like resume + reference letter.
You can be even Linus Torvalds and Bill Gates in one, but without rating,
without completed projects - you are nobody.
This
rating system is enable to create reputation and prove bona fides on-line.
It's much more important for sellers rather than for buyers.
A set of high ratings increases seller's trust level, thus allows him to place above average bids, but still win.
After getting good rating level - seller will receive private invitations from buyers who look for trustworthy freelancer.
- RentACoder elite: Top Coders. To qualify, coder must meet rigorous requirements:
